Solomon wanted to show his love for God and offered a thousand sacrifices. God appeared to Solomon in a dream and asked what Solomon would like to be given from God. Solomon asked for wisdom and understanding heart to rule God's people well. God was so pleased with Solomon's request. He not only granted him wisdom, but He gave him honor and riches as well.
Our worship service is one of the ways we show our love for God. We must remember who Jesus is and what He has done for us in every service we have.
We also shared the differences between being smart and being wise.
o Being smart: being knowledgeable, know a lot of facts and information, understand with head, learn quickly
o Being wise: being understanding, know God, know what’s good and what’s wrong, understand with heart, do what is right.
